advise for selling my wedding stuff

It's finally time to try to sell my wedding things! I'm going to sort through the boxes and take pictures of everything this weekend. I'm planning on making a weebly website to post on the TN classifieds and I'm also going to post on Craigslist for my area.

I have a question about how people pay for the items. I have a paypal account, is there a way to link my account to the weebly page?

Any other tips for selling wedding stuff? I hope I have good luck with it!

Re: advise for selling my wedding stuff

  • Through PayPal you can make 'Buy Now' buttons that you add via the html link on Weebly. It's really quite easy to do, I figured it out so that is saying something, and that way people can view your Weebly site then pay right from there. Another option for selling items, check on Facebook to see if there is an area garage/yard sale page. I recently found one for the area I live in and it is so easy to sell stuff to people and it takes out the problem of PayPal and such because you typically meet in a neutral area to pay. Just upload photos to the page, describe the items with a price and other members of the group can see the items when you post them. Just something else to consider!

  • I just had my e-mail address on my weebly site or they could contact me through craigslist.  If they were interested and wanted to buy, I'd send them a statement via e-mail through Paypal.  When they paid me, I shipped their stuff =]  Craiglist I did strictly cash.

    Good luck!
