Hi! I've never posted on the D&R board before, but I have a question that I think is best directed here.
About 2 months ago I bought an 8x10 shag rug to put over the crappy thin carpet in our nursery. There is a border of about 8" on all sides. The rug is great, however, it keeps bunching up on the carpet. It's held down by furniture on 3 sides, but somehow it keeps moving around, and leaving big "ripples" in the rug, which you can trip on and are generally annoying/ unsightly. I do not currently have a carpet pad, because I didn't think I needed one on a carpet.
Does anyone have any suggestions to keep it flat? It didn't start this until recently. We have already tried pulling it tight and setting the furniture on top of it to keep it taut, and we've rotated it, which helped for like 3 days. Any suggestions? It's driving me crazy. :-/ Thanks in advance!
