Election '08
I'll suck it up and make a post!
I say congrats to Obama for running a great campaign and winning the election, to McCain for being a humble man who honorably accepted defeat, and to everyone who voted for caring enough to move this country in another direction.
I want to say that I think no matter who won, this country is bound to move in a better direction since it can't get much worse than it is.
I am happy for those of you who voted for Obama and hope, for those of you who didn't, he surprises you and really does well for America.

I think the biggest victory is that people turned out in record numbers. ?I'm hoping this becomes a trend. ?
I thought both speeches were inspirational and I'm VERY interested to see what happens next. ?
?For MA, it looks like it'll be some changes if Obama takes Kerry and Patrick with him, so I'm looking forward to the domino effect there and see what kind of change that brings to MA. ?
?Only the state of MA would elect to keep income tax,?decriminalize?marijuana??and ban dog racing all at the same time.
?I won't miss the Sununu Shaheen ads though, we were getting pounded with them. ??

I'm glad that the election is over... now instead of everyone attacking each other, maybe we can move on to fixing the problems facing us!
I too am extremely happy at the voter turnout and that the political ads/phone calls/door knockers are over!
I do wish someone would take down the sign I drive by when I go to work:
"Stop Communism" with a big circle with a slah through it over Obama's name...that one scares me.
