Need serious help with curtains and the rods.....
I have 3 huge windows in my family room and i would like to use the very short decorative rods to display 4 panels. Im thinking thick wood rods about 18inches long but where can i buy these???? anywhere online i can purchase them that are affordable?

You're thinking too hard.
Buy 1 rod. Saw it into pieces with a hand saw. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.

Good idea. Home Depot and Bed Bath & Beyond have long wooden rods (I think 6 and 8 feet in length). If you cut whatever you needed, you could just buy 8 wall hanging brackets to match sold near the rods (2 per window on 4 windows) and then get the decorative finials that screw into the ends of the wooden rod (again, 8 needed).

I'm agree with both 2 replies. If you want to set up wood curtain rods so that method is perfect for you. But, I have found one fabulous website for curtain rods where you can find cheapest curtain rods ever! So, why should not check once before set up wood curtain rods? This is my alternative suggestion for you. If you want to stick with wooden material so I will happy with it.
