Help me stain my bench!
I want to stain a bench to put in my kitchen. I am having trouble deciding on a color. Our kitchen cabinets are a warm cherry color, the counter top is mostly a warm tan with flecks of browns, our sink is dark brown and we have black appliances. The walls are a yellowish tan color. Above where the bench will be is a black board framed in an off white color. Should I try to match the cabinets? The bench is going to be butted up right next to the cabinets. Ideally I would do white, but it is rough lumber so I don't know if painting it white is the right way to go. I found a grey tinted stain, would that look weird with all the warm tones and browns I have going on? Please help!
