I posted a few days ago about the layout of my too big furniture in my bedroom. The room is at the end of a hall - would it look strange if the bed was on the wall perpendicular to the door? Meaning you open the door and walk into the side of the bed? This seems to be the only wall that fits the bed without blocking a window. It would be the wall that the dresser is on currently. I feel like it would be an improvement over walking into the side of the dresser anyway. Or any other thoughts are welcome. My whole house has such a nice flow and feel but my bedroom which should be the most comfortable drives me crazy.

Feng Shui actually says NOT to have your bed in line with your door or any door, but rather it should be facing the door. I'm not typically into feng shui but I had read this and it stuck with me. I confirmed online just now too and multiple sites said this.
We had our apartment bedroom like that anyway and it never hurt anything though. =D You also aren't supposed to have any mirrors. ha!
Apply the same principle of "commanding position" to your bedroom by placing it so that you have a good view of the door from your bed. Placing the bed directly across from the door is considered unlucky, though, so try to keep it off-center.

You clearly didn't see her original post. To have the bed facing the door, it actually is in front of the window. I would rather walk into the room and see the side of the bed than block the window.
We only have one option in our master bedroom - you walk in along side the bed. It hasn't messed up my mojo.
If that's the best use of space and you like how it looks, leave it there.
