Im having breathing issues! Its driving me nuts!

Anyone ever try to take a deep breath but cant?  Like It feels shallow and you dont get a full inhale?  I get this a lot of the day, I even yawn to try and get my breath yet when I work out (vigorously, I teach spinning) I have no problems controlling my breathing...I'm really healthy, exercise regularly, don't smoke so I have no idea.  Anyone ever have this?

Re: Im having breathing issues! Its driving me nuts!

  • Sounds like it could be little bouts of asthma to me.  I grew up with it...  But now that I don't have pets it's gotten a LOT better (my asthma is almost always induced by allergies.)

What's it like to exhale?  Can you breathe out fully?  When you really try to force the air out do you sound wheezy?

  • Definitely get it checked out, it could be asthma or a respiratory infection.
  • I actually just saw my dr last week for this...I have exercise induced asthma.  I was told to only use inhaler prior to a run.  works like a charm and I actually finished a 5k on sat without the normal huffing and puffing...amaziing diffrence
