BIG FAT SHAMELESS AW: New camera on its way! :)
I am so excited (if you couldn't tell)- I'll have a Nikon D300 and a new 16-85mm VR Nikkor next week! I've been dragging my feet on making a decision forever- and finally, here we go!
This camera is going to blow my D40X out of the water. And obviously, it will be here in time for December, if we really do a GTG then. Assuming we're all over the election strife soon enough- heheh!

wow i am SO jealous! I have the Nikon D40 (in retrospect now i really should have gotten the D40X)....
that is awesome! I'm working on getting my site up and running, too, but i still need much more experience shooting portraits .....
Blow it out of the water? Your pictures are always amazing quality as it is.....I can't imagine how great they'll be once you get some new ones posted
