In Peoria... flurries... Tuesday Nov. 25 (it seems like the last few years I've seen flurries by Thanksgiving, so that's my guess).

) : Saturday Dec 20. On a weekend so there is no hope of having a free day off work.
I'm sure the dates for the Quad Cities will be different... Peoria and the QC can be so night and day!!!

Now that I think about it, I think DH or a co-worker said something about Peoria had flurries a week or two ago when we ahd that first cold snap.
I still haven't seen flurries (stuck inside at work too much?), so I want the big downpour that makes it look like you'll be snowed in, but the ground is too warm for anything to stick.
Is it summer yet??
A customer at work yesterday told me he'd seen flurries earlier in the day. Whenever someone says something like that, I don't hesitate to tell them to SHH!
We're going shopping in Springfield today and I think I'm going to get a better coat. On average, it was 7-10 degrees warmer where we lived before moving to Illinois and I'm not sure my coat will cut it!

Plus I'm now ChaCha-ing some at night... so it keeps me entertained while checking the usual websites (nest, facebook, email, newspaper, msn).
