Let's talk shoe trends

I am over the peep toe look.  Is this on it's way out?

What about the wrapped or exposed platforms?  Will this stay for awhile?

Re: Let's talk shoe trends

  • I hope the platforms stick around for a while.  I can wear 5 inch platforms all day, with literally no pain.  I especially like the wrapped look.

Aside from wearing them with pencil skirts, I've never been into peep toes.  Probably because I have yet to find a pair that are truley comfortable.  They may feel great at first, but a few hours in and I'm ready to walk around like a shoeless heathen.

One trend that I really hope lingers is the flat riding boot.  Not only are they extremly comfortable, they are very versatile.  I wear mine with jeans, leggings, skirts, and dresses.  I have no issue spending a chunk of change on a good pair because I get so much use out of them.

  • I think I'd cry if platforms went out. I don't see that happening, though. I also love flat riding boots.
