Macaroon Question
Hiya Gang!
So I'm new here on the What's Cooking board and I have a question about baking and not cooking.
I really love the taste of macaroons. I attempted to make a batch once but...errr...lets just say they looked horrible. They tasted good, but they didn't have that fluffy pretty look to them. FI and I will be having our wedding reception in April 2013 which gives me enough time to practice making them. In my area they cost an arm and a leg to buy. I'm not the type to pay $2.50 per macaroon for something so small.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to make them right or know of really good websites that have easy instructions?
