Can I bake cupcakes and chicken in the oven together?

I am baking cupcakes for a bday party and chicken for dinner? Would it ruin the taste of the cupcakes to bake them both in the same oven at the same time?

  • I don't know if it would ruin the taste, but the amount of things in your oven affects how heat circulates, as well as humidity levels.  This can affect how quickly and how well things bake.  I wouldn't risk my cupcakes, if I were you. But I also think ruined cupcakes are one of the saddest things ever. :(

  • I wouldn't even if they call for the same temperature. The aroma wouldn't mix well together.
