1. Do you enjoy your job/career?
I just saw this. I'm a career insurance person. 10 years as an independent agent, 2 years in various roles in a company, and soon to be captive agent for Allstate.
This isn't what I wanted to do with my life, but it pays the bills and then some and is a viable career. People will always need insurance. I loved being an agent, being in the company isn't as much fun.
2. Do you have a good work/life balance?
When I was an agent I worked 9 - 5, some evenings in busy season, and only got night/weekend calls at home if one of my big clients had issues. Company side, I live to work and have no balance.
3. Did you go to college? If so what was your major?
No, I've had my insurance license since I was 18 and am pursuing industry designations.
