Small space coffee table?
We live in a great townhouse, but the living room is super narrow. The coffee table that we have is atrocious and is currently being held together by tape (it was actually office furniture that was rescued by my father in the 80s :S) Anyhow, it hasn't been replaced because we've been looking forever for something that's not massive and haven't found anything good.
We like clean lines, nothing uber modern, but also not country-ish... We really need to have something by the couch, as we both use it for paperwork (and it doubles as a table when the dining table is swamped.
Does anyone have suggestions??
Much appreciated!
Re: Small space coffee table?
I had a hard time finding a small coffee table for our basement as well.....seems like everything in furniture stores is so oversized now! I ended up finding something on Craigslist. I agree with PP....a glass table will take up less "space" visually.
If you can't find a small enough table (not really sure what kind of dimensions you're looking for), perhaps use a couple storage cubes placed together, or even a skinny bench as a table.
We used 2 Tanner glass/wrought iron end tables pushed together as a coffee table.
You want visual space so glass would be something to consider.
