Re: (Untitled)

  • We got married only 13 days ago and I'm still had my highest weight yet. I had been eating really well and had gotten down to 183lbs from 198lbs before our wedding.
I gained a ton of weight when we first started living together over a year ago. I went from weighing 170lbs (I'm also 5'11") to 198lbs, and now I'm stuck at an awful 193lbs and it's not budging.
It's so depressing and I want to love the way I look, instead I hate my body and it affects my self esteem and hurts my husband to see me so.

    Holiday Anniversary Anniversary
  • I gained probably 15 pounds in the year i've been married, mostly due to stress from financial issues. Anyways, in January i hit a low point at 193lbs(i am 6' tall) and was depressed about how i looked and such. I decided to so something about it and am now down to 184lbs and counting! smaller portions plus 20 minute work outs 4 times a week. When i am in the habit of working out my attitude and mindset are way more positive and i feel SO much better about myself. You guys can do it! i have about 15 more pounds that i want to lose but i plan on doing it and so can all of you ladies!

  • my weight hasn't really fluctuated since high school, maybe give or take <10 lbs... so i am not surprised that i haven't gained since my wedding almost a year ago.

i try to keep fit - walking a few miles every day, climbing stairs instead of elevator up to my floor at work, a few romps with my wonderful H every week Wink maintaining the same weight is so easy if you just control your portions - it is not what you eat, but how much you eat.

how you look is so important to how you feel, so take care of your body!! those extra snacks are nowhere near as satisfying as feeling and looking your best every day!

have your husbands gained weight after the wedding as well??

  • Same with me. I Weighed about 126 at my wedding, and now I'm down to 116 (been married 2 years.) I think it stress for me. I could probably gain a little, but nobody's want to do that!
It took a long time to get here, but we are extremely excited for our baby to come!
  • I got married 2 1/2 years ago. Im 5'3 and was 119 pounds... I am now 135... My husband actually loves the weight gain. So I am pretty comfortable right now but i would like to go downt to the 120's..
