Keith Urban - Making Memories of Us. The song has been "our" song since we first started dating and we have always been able to relate to the lyrics.
I love both of the previously listed songs...we debated between God gave me you and I won't give up by Jason Mraz as possibilities for our first dance.
3 doors down - your arms feel like home.
We wanted a song that is slightly different and not super popular. When I found it I really liked it and H thought it was great.
we danced to this as welll. As soon as I heard it, I knew it was perfect for our first dance!
We chose Baby I Love Your Way by Peter Frampton.
When we heard it on the radio we agreed that would be our choice for our first dance.
That's really cool that we had the same 1st dance song. :-)
We used Keith's "Making Memories" too! We're huge fans, his concert was one of the first ones we went to together. We also used this song as our alarm in the morning, because the background music is so nice.
Keith Urban was one of our first concerts together too....it was my Christmas present and we went when he was in Cleveland (last summer or two summers ago). I was so excited that he still sang this song at the concert even though it is an older one of his! "Making memories" is my ringtone for H!

This was ours, too. It was a toss up between this song and Jason Mraz "I Won't Give Up'. We ended up dancing to both, but Blake Shelton was our 'first dance' song

Don't want to miss a thing by Aerosmith. Cliche I know, but when H said it was the song he always imagined we would dance to, how could I say no?? LOL
Last dance song was you and me by Lifehouse, more my style... so we compromised

Ours was "I Knew I Loved You" by Savage Garden. A little 90s, but I absolutely love the lyrics and have always felt like they were a perfect fit for our relationship.
