    :)

A new doggie is always fun.

I remember when I brought my dog home from the shelter --- we let him out of the back hatch and he ran. Up the block. And kept going.

I hollared for him -- he had a name -- and he came back.:)

He was real good; he didn't mess the house and he had a great time sitting under the yew bush out back on his first day here.:)

Keep yr footwear locked up and keep edibles off the coffee table. I'll bet EB is a table surfer, too.:)O
  • Awww....great to hear she's doing so well!

Bella LOVES sandles too and most of all LOVES socks. They always go missing haha.

I'm happy for you and your new fur baby!

  • Dachshunds are GREAT!  However, they've been bred for "selective disobedience" to go get those badgers, so they can be a bit stubborn.  My two (eight months old now) tear up toys, and have gone through I don't know how many beds since we got them.    My previous dachshund didn't tear stuff up this way, so it's a new experience for me.

I'm having a little trouble with the leashes (the first minute or so on lead are difficult with them jumping, etc., ) but I'm working on it.  Today they're in doggie day care.  A tired dog is a good dog.

image Don't mess with the old dogs; age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! BS and brilliance only come with age and experience.
