"Death Letter" Question

If your husband came home from deployment, and it came out that he wrote you a "death letter."  Would you want to read it if given the option to?

Re: "Death Letter" Question

  • I think that is up to each person.  Over 8 deployments, my husband has sent me letters a couple times saying he came really close to not coming home and just wanted to make sure the kids and I knew exactly how he felt.  I still have them.  They are his honest feelings, from the heart.  I hate that he felt the need to write them under those circumstances, but I'm glad I know and I'm glad I have them.
