Re: long distance--lost communications

  • Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. If I can get some more info I'd like to help. Is he in his son's life? Are you close enough to visit one another, and how often? WHat is your relationship dynamic.....are you close, does he treat you well?
  • Why in four years have the two of you never moved to be closer?

YOu need to talk to him.

If you are expecting marriage, after 4 years you have a right to know if it is going to happen or not.

And after 4 years, a guy knows if he wants to marry the woman he is involved with.

Ask him straight away "Can I expect marriage?" If he says yes, ask him to set a date there and then. If he won't.... do yourself a favor and say goodbye to this gentleman.  YOu and he now want 2 different things, not the same thing.

    Sorry for your troubles.

  • He's a singaporean and he works there. I live in Philippines he visit us every 3 or 4months and he stay for 1week. He's a good man.
  • Hmm.  Most of the people who post here are from the US or Canada, so there might be cultural elements at play that would make our advice not so useful to you.
