I just got an e-mail at work about this and some other parks in Center City since we are part of the Center City District.  It looks pretty neat. I've never even heard of these places- pathetic, yes.  There is a family yoga class and some other acitivites for children.

My mom is one of the people that worked on the committee to open the park up- they have had some really neat-sounding events there, but I haven't made it down there yet, mostly because I'd have to take the train down with my daughter and her stroller and bags and that's a daunting task to me...I'll get there one of these days though!

This is right near DH's office! I love the idea of the BYO wine and cheese pairing at the cafe! I may have to try it!

We havent tried it here yet but I know lachute always goes, I say we use it for the next kiddie GTG!

We love it. Not sure how awesome it will be when it gets cold since there kids areas are both water related. But we have splashed there a ton this summer.

You are welcome!  Collins and the Parkway Park also have a farmers market for those who may be interested.

Now that we have a LO on the way, I actually pay attention to this stuff.
