Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Re: (Untitled)

  • I would just do the old "kill them with kindness" deal. I am in the same situation with my DH's older sister and at first it bugged me but then I just told myself that she's obviously just a miserable person that loves to complain about how terrible her life is and try to bring others down, so I just ignore her remarks now. Whenever we have to be in the same place, I just talk to everyone else and if she decides she wants to be social towards me then so be it. If everyone else on your DH's side likes you, I wouldn't let it get to you. You two will be married forever if all goes as planned, I'm sure she'll give up eventually Wink
