settle working for a dead end job?

I just got hired to work for a online business that sells phone accessoriesIt is customer service and shipping. Even though i am still in training it beena week but im bored and feel somewhat embaressed and if i could find a Better job. There are no benefits so i still have to work my other job. I'mExhausted already. I feel isolated and uncomfortable there are only 3 other Employees, all men. Its different from my other job where its a huge retail. For the past 1-2yrs i have not been able to hold down a job, i have aproblem focusing and i get frusterated easily and with my hearing delay Im worse over the phone. Which is why im hesitate about leaving my new job Because customer service is email only, no phones. Other jobs that i have heldOther jobs that i did hold i had horrible bosses( yelling, embaress me in front of customers) and hope the same doesnt happen. So far the new job they are nice. All my friends around me have awesome jobs and get paid well. While i trying to pay bills I cant help but compare myself and cant do any better. I want to start my Business but it feels so far away. Im sounding really whiny but what i reallywant to know is...is anyone else going through this having a job you feel That this is the best you can do? Or should i just be happy i have a job. Ct is doing bad job wise since its so expensive here businesses are leaving.

Re: settle working for a dead end job?

  • First try your hardest not to compare yourself to your friends/ others. You never know what their situation is really like.

Two you can do better. You said you want to start your own buisness, so go for it. It will be tough, a lot of work, financially draining at first but worth it. The sence of accomplishment and pride you'll have will be great.

Thirdly, don't quite your job job with benifits. You need those.

Im sorry I can't help with the job you feel board at. That is a personal dedication you'll have to make. There are pros and cons to leaving it. You just need to figure out if the pros of leaving it outweigh the cons of staying with it.
