Re: (Untitled)
Bain had an 80% success record in helping companies succeed. Not all businesses were salvageable nor successful even with help..
I still think 80% is an excellent record. What would it have been without Bain?
I don't think Obama can say his economic record is 80% successful. Look at how many green companies who received TARP money still closed? - And WE are the ones out the money.
It is nice that we do have some action here again. I was hoping with
my comment to get more people to jump right in!
I am not going anywhere.
Where did this figure come from, Bain? What is it based on?
No, that's Proboards where you get 15+ pages of posts bashing a conservative poster by name with her screenname in the title. Talk about Koolaid.... and they think they're welcoming.
Even on here, you never had threads with a conservative poster's name in it bashing them. All the time on the Nest, and I don't know if there was ever talk about cyberbullying and having a more active moderator to combine the bile of a poster.
How was this supposed to contribute to good political discussion?
It is refreshing that the flavor of kool-aid seems to have changed. This flavor seems much less like cyper-bulling. If that is all you want, go to the proboards.
This is the state of affairs at Proboards. A poster de-activated, and since she had done so before, another poster got an account under her screenname so that she couldn't come back under her screenname. I don't even know if my middle schoolers would do that.
Unless you like an extended orgasm over Matt Taibbi or a "(fill in the blank Republican) Derangement Syndrome," PB may not be for you. It's afflicted even a few who were formerly bearable. Not a place for nuance.
The PB have become really bad. To me it is nothing but cyper bullying. Their purpose seems to be to tear apart anyone who dares to have a different view.
I hope this board can be a true political board to discuss politics and not to tear people down.
I'm still waiting to discuss politics.
Seriously, though.
Is this just the Conservative/Republican equivalent of PB where people who don't agree with the majority of posters are ignored or condescended to?
If so then I'll just go back to discussing politics with people who agree with my point of view instead of asking questions and discussing politics with people who don't agree with me.
