How far would you travel

for a wedding? Just curious how far would be too far away

depends on if we were in the wedding, how close we were to the people, and how much it costs to go. we went to one in fort worth, but have not gone to others that have been in texas or other places due to expense or just not being that close to the couple.

Depends on the person.  For some people, nothing would be too far away.  Others, I wouldn't drive an hour.  LOL  

Hopefully someone I wouldn't drive an hour for wouldn't invite me to their wedding in the first place

If it was my son's wedding I'd go anywhere, even around the world...if it was a dear friend I'd fly across country, others...who knows maybe a couple of hours max.

It all depends. I was in one of my best friend's weddings a little over a year ago and flew from Australia to Ohio. This summer we are going from here to SE Asia for my BIL's wedding. Others...I would want to spend the time or money.

Like PP's have stated, depends on the finances, the couple, etc.  Although when DH and I got married in Destin, FL, a lot of his family came down from Iowa.  I thought it was so thoughtful that they'd take there vacation time to come to the beach and our wedding.

good friends and family....i would be more willing to travel further

It depends on how close I am to the person and how much it costs.  If it was a close relative or friend I would be more than willing to go out of state.  But if it is someone I only talk to like every 6 months or so, I wouldn't be as willing.
