Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  •  Some on the site seem to be great, yet there's no way I would pay $1000-2000. for a playhouse for my kid. 
  • They're really cute but I think it's more fun to be imaginative with playhouses and such. When I was a kid I found some boards, blocks and assorted "stuff" and made my own playhouse...I made kitchen counters for my mud cakes and I didn't miss having a real playhouse, of course there wasn't such a thing back then LOL. My imagination and creativity got a workout playing in my playhouse. Then, when Lauren was four, we found a really big wooden box and her dad cut a door and two windows out of it...I put curtains in it, a little table and a chair, even an old discarded phone...she seemed to enjoy it at least for a year or so until the bugs invaded...LOL
  • There's no way I'd pay that much money for something my kids would outgrow in a couple of years. Building something that may not look as perfect, but still functions the same, would be the way I would go.
