So I cannot find my college diploma for the life of me. It's in a bright red diploma cover. (I'm also missing my middle school diploma in a blue cover- though I did find the high school one in red).
They were all originally in my room at home, then we moved to our house in 2010. I thought I had brought them all up to the spare room/office. I dug through the entire office/closet and our bedroom closet as well.
Where do you keep your diplomas? Where else should I look? My school wants a copy of it for a teachers diploma wall, and I would rather not have to shell out cash for a replacement (and they'd prefer me to bring in the copy sooner, rather than having to wait for the replacement)
Re: Lost item
Mine are still at my mom's house. They are with all of my other important school, club, and sport stuff I put in a binder for jr high, high school, and college (awards, receommendation letters, programs from banquets and graduations, etc.) A friend of my mom's suggested keeping the stuff in a binder and it was a good idea because it kept it nice and neat and in one place. The diplomas are just on top of them. I haven't moved them to our house yet b.c. I am afraid I will lose them.
Are you sure you brought them to your house? Maybe look again tomorrow or the next day. I know when I lose something and get worried about it sometimes I find it when I go back and look. Also, maybe have DH help you. Many times someone else can find it. Do you have any other boxes of college stuff that it could be with?
Mine are on our home office bookshelf along with my husband's. Actually, I think my college diploma may still be at my parents, but my high school diploma is here.
I would look in any unopened boxes in storage and re-look where you already looked. Usually, I'm so frantic trying to find something that I overlook it the first time. Try going through at a slower more thorough pace.
I really hope you find it! :-)
