July 2010 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
paperback swap or similar site
Have any of you girls used one of these sites? Did you have good luck with it? Did you like it? I usually let my mom, MIL, and a friend or two who reads read the books after me and then they either go to a friend's yard sale, Goodwill, or work (to giveaway for free.) Or they stay around my house for way too long, lol. I have started picking up books at Goodwill because they are only a dollar or two.
Re: paperback swap or similar site
I use bookmooch.com because it allows for international mooches (PBSwap does not). Let me know if you do join, as I can friend you and give you a free credit.
I also use freecycle to get books and to pass them on, when they aren't mooched in a few months to try to keep the number of books in the house down.
