Weekend recap! Fun stuff, cute outfits...come on in!
Okay, I am bored - that is probably obvious. I'm doing a lot of desk work today and need to take mental breaks. Let's see if we can get this board up and moving again! I think more people are coming back and it is going to be fast again, that's my hope anyway!

Church on Sunday, pizzeria with games yesterday, and Saturday my mom came over.

I was casual in some striped tees from Gap and JCrew and my Old Navy khaki shorts and my cropped and cuffed boyfriend jeans from Gap outlet with my flat American Eagle sandals.

No new shopping but I got in some stuff I ordered last week and I am anxiously awaiting my new denim jacket from Gap although it's still WAY too hot here in Texas to wear it. I bought some straight skinny jeans from Banana Republic and need to hem them as well as my new bootcut jeans from the JCrew sale.
I want to try some deep brown mascara instead of black - I think the black is a bit harsh for my lighter skin tone - option? Any suggestions? And I want to try some purple eyeliner - like a dark purple, not Barney.

Nothing is worth PIP for me today! But Friday I have a coffee date with my best friend and plan on dressing up a bit for what I usually wear (working from home I dress more for comfort and ease so I am excited to actually dress "up" for me!).

2. Not really. Though I love my bright pink workout shorts I wore ziplining
3. I am working on a home interior decorating business and my mom is letting me decorate her house to start up my portfolio for future clients
4. Nope! Again in workout gear because I went for a run
5. My last shopping trip was the previous weekend. But they are still new purchses so I'll share. A bright yellow dress with a brown skinny belt, 3 bottles of nail polish and a blush from target. And a tribal printed sequin skirt from express that I have been wanting for months.
Did you do anything fun this weekend? We had a BBQ Saturday night at our old neighbor's new crib. It rained the rest of the weekend, but we managed to get out for a bit yesterday to grab lunch and to take advantage of the Labor Day sales.
Did you wear anything cute? Yesterday, I wore a white tunic and black ponte pants with my white Burberry rainboots. I have a hard time matching white rain boots with my outfits, so I'm always happy when I get to wear them.
Do you have anything fun new or exciting you want to share? Nope, but I plan on picking up a few items this week for an upcomming trip to Scotland.
Are you wearing anything cute today? Yes! An orange and purple stripped linen skirt, paired with a plain white tee and an orange & gold chevron Kate Spade enameled bracelet.
Did you do any shopping this weekend? Yes, but just for the husband. I especially love the houndstooth sports coat we picked up from Macy's. It was 70% off, plus I had a 20% coupon.

PIP means Picture in Post - you can post a picture if you wish. It could be of a purchase, an outfit, etc. And your outfit for today sounds VERY cute. And around this area, I would be looked at in very strange ways if I wore rainboots. Texas doesn't get much rain!
H needs a shopping spree, his shirts are all needing to be replaced and he needs some new jeans and tees as well. I just cleaned my closet again too so I'm good to go, I just LOVE to feel organized and clutter free!

Did you do anything fun this weekend? My ILs came to visit. We use these trips to do touristy things locals don't usually do. We visited a farm. We also laid low and drank some new wines.

Are you wearing anything cute today? I wish I had good lighting in my bedroom in front of my full length mirro. I have a brown skirt with orange and teal trim, orange top, and blue bubble necklace. I like this outfit.

Did you do any shopping this weekend? Just to pick up a few birthday gifts....and I did break down and get a pair of pink skinnies(i've been eyeing them for awhile now).
