Auburn native Robert Gibbs, 37, will be named president-elect Barack Obama?s White House press secretary, according to a report citing Democratic officials by Politico.com
Gibbs, a 1989 graduate of Auburn High School, was a campaign strategist for Obama and worked as communications director of Obama?s Senate office.
The report also said the job has not been ?formally offered or accepted.?
DH was a freshman when this guy was a senior at AHS. DH doesn't remember him but looked in the yearbook and they were in science club together.
