I like Condeleeza Rice.  I think she's incredibly intelligent and well-spoken.

I like Joe Lieberman and Joe Manchin. They 're moderate and can work across the aisle/speak to multiple constituencies.  They don't seem to look at Republicans as an alien species, racist, crazy, or stupid.

I really like Condoleeza Rice, too.  Any woman that can do so much and remain so professional gets a nod from me.

He was when he ran as Gore's running mate.  He was the first person I thought of; he still caucused with the Democrats.

I like both Condi and Colin Powell. And Jon Huntsmann.

He's an independent now, according to his website.  It says he still caucuses with the Democrats, though.

This, and I have seen a couple Ron Paul interviews lately

and I like quite a few things that he had to say, especially

that the parties can be hell bent on not cooperating with

each other. That this really hurts us.

And, he has a great sense of humor.

I like Rice and Huntsman.  I like what Bush 41 has done in his retirement.

Bill Cosby and Elizabeth Warren. I admire their intellect and ability to talk to such a wide range of people.

Jon Huntsman. He wasn't afraid to take a step back from the anti-science ledge espoused by the far-right. He wasn't afraid to display his knowledge of the world, a quality that is strangely despised by many on the right (think Herman Cain and his 'Uzbeki-beki-beki-stan' comment or whatever the heck he said). He was the one person in the early Republican field I would have been entirely comfortable seeing win the 2012 election.

Huntsman is a good one.  I thought he was the cream of the crop in the last GOP Primary.  But honestly I don't actually know that much about him so I'm not sure if that was just his media caricature or if he actually embodied the level-headed, thoughtful persona I imagine.  Hopefully he spends some more time on the national stage so I get to find out.

Richard Lugar.  Although this could be because I interned for him and really respect his integrity.  He would take time and eat dinner with the interns almost weekly and discuss what was going on in the Senate.

Ya know, I really like Jill Biden. She is smart ,( although that doesn't really explain her choice of Joe) well spoken  and  very caring about the troops.
