I agree! Ghost town! I am SOOOO glad its Friday though... I feel like short weeks always feel longer than a normal week. I hate it!
I was just snooping on other anniversary boards and May's board liked our ideas of interrogations and TMI Tuesdays, etc.
I saw that they did an unpopular opinion post and confessions post. Those might be fun to try. The unpopular opinion is something you don't get - like they mentioned people's obsession with twitter, etc. And confessions is just something embarrassing- they mentioned Teen Mom ending. I kinda agree...haha
I'm so happy its Friday, too! This week did feel kinda long - I'm going to need a 3 day weekend again. I wish!
We do those on my bump month board- it's fun!
Same here! The good news is that we are in starting the holiday season (sort of).... so we have days off coming up!
Why didnt I go to school to be a teacher again!?!? haha!
I keep on thinking the same thing! And I've thought about going back to school for teaching bc I love kids and the hours are amazing.
I think the same thing sometimes...I'm not a teacher, I work in the accounts payable department at a University in Ohio. So on occasion we get some of the same holidays off as the students. The only downside compared to a teacher is we don't get the summers off
H is a teacher and I like to pick on him about having all the time off in the summer, but in all honestly I wouldn't trade with him as I see how hard he works during the year (often past the 2:30 let out time) and how some of his time off in the summer is spent doing stuff at/for school.
I plan to get my doctorate and teach at the college level.... I know I wouldnt be a good elementary, middle or high school teacher- but I would LOVE the hours!
What would you like to teach at the college level? I'm the opposite of you - I would prefer to be at elementary or middle school level. I love younger kids.
My undergrad and masters are in Business Administration and all of my experience is in business- so I would love to teach some higher level business courses.

It def felt dead this week! I get so bored at work and I love posting on here - I actually had to work this week. haha We should start doing the confessions and unpopular opinion threads. Do we want to start next week? Or today?
On Fridays lets do "Flame-Free Friday Confessionals".....
What day should we do Unpopular Opinions? We do it on Thursdays on TB.

how is the new job going?
I'm LOVING the new job. Right now though it's a lot of classroom stuff for the "kids". Many of them have no idea how to perform many essential job skills so we're working on that a lot stuff in a fun way. It makes me remember my days working at a camp and being able to be goofy and silly yet also get my messages across to them (lots of role playing). They have the rest of the month of classroom work and then they start their first rotation which I'm really looking forward too.
I've also met a number of great staff members who I've been networking with for the future of myself and the kids.
