Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a new hairdresser. Nothing really wrong with my lsat one other than her price. For YEARS I had my hair highlighted blonde (even though I'm naturally brunnette) and was used to paying for expensive color. However, I got tired of the upkeep and cost, and finally went back to natural brunette, although I still need to get it dyed since the blonde is fighting to show through. I found this is much cheaper than highlights and requires less upkeep so that's not the problem. The problem is the haircut. My hairdresser charged $60 for just TRIMMING my hair, which I thought seemed high.
I live in Peter's Twp near Trax Farms, so if anyone has any good South Hills recommendations, I'd love to hear them! Looking for reasonable all-over color and cut sylists.
Thanks!
Re: Recommend Your Hairdresser...
i think i'm switching from GL's to bangz in bridgeville, but haven't been there yet. i love GL's, but i've grown tired of not getting what i asked for. their prices depend on their levels, so my stylist (amber) has gone from $22 to $26 (or is it $28?). i've found their highlight prices to be the same-about $3/foil, so i still spend a good $100 on highlights.
I go to Creations in Hair in Monongahela (near Ringgold HS). Deana (the owner/stylist) does it out of her house and her prices are awesome. I have shoulder length hair and for partial (you still get a ton) hightlights, cut & style, I pay around $55. I also get my eyebrows waxed there and I think it's around $8-10.
I go o Pittsburgh Hair Company in Dormont have for like 9 yrs.
Linda, the owner does my hair. I do my own color....
but here is the link to the prices on the website.
