ISO of a great "brownie" like dessert recipe- maybe a pinterest find??
Going to a little bbq tomorrow and have offered to bring dessert. There will be a handful of 4 year olds, one of which has a peanut allergy, so no peanut butter.
I'd like to take a really delicious brownie or bar cookie; something that can be enjoyed without silverware or a plate. I've spent some time browsing pinterest, but would really like something "tried and true."
Any recent favs?
Thanks!

Ok, you have to trust me on this:
Make a box brownie mix meant for a 13x9 pan in an 8" or 9" round cake pan. Cook until the middle is set but still soft and gooey. Top with jarred chocolate frosting. Slice like a pie.
I promise you, people will think a) you got it from a bakery or b) you spent hours following some French recipe. It's the greatest chocolate dessert you'll ever have and it's stupid simple. It's so good, it's been the groom's cake at 3 family weddings - guests have no idea what they're eating.
I haven't made it a while, so I can't remember the exact cooking time. I think it's in the range of the time called for for the 13x9 pan, but because you're cooking all that batter in a small pan, it won't be cooked through. Don't cook it through, otherwise you'll just have brownies. The outer edge should be completely cooked.
