75th Birthday Centerpiece Ideas for man

finally:)

My dad's 75th birthday is next weekend.  We are having it at a restaurant and I need to provide the centerpieces.  Are flowers ok for a guy or should I try to come up with something else?  We are doing balloons around other areas of the room.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

I think flowers are perfectly acceptable.  Bonus points if you frame pictures of him throughout his life and put those beside the flowers as well.

I think flowers would be lovely.  There are certainly some that are more girly and ones that could easily be more masculine.  I would also try to incorporate something specific to him- any hobbies or pictures, etc.

Maybe try to decorate the table with time period nic nacs from the year he was born? The cars of the year..or sports teams..etc
