You seem to ask "when did this happen? I didn't see that" quite a bit in regards to stories that were all over the news.
Do you mind if I ask where you get your current event news? Seems like you miss a lot of heavily covered news stories so I am curious what source you use?

Generally, my local news but I miss it weeks at a time because I work so much. I also try to pick up a newspaper when time permits.
I get pretty much all my news from the local public radio station - they have NPR's All Things Considered playing when I get off of work, so I listen on the way home. Also, when I have a few minutes during work, I'll log on to BBC News' website.
ETA: Just realized this was for a specific person. I'm a dumb.

I would strongly recommend that you read the news before starting a post on a topic or commenting on one. Strongly recommend. And no offense, but if you have time to hunt down youtube videos, you have time for the news. And you sure youtube a lot. Let me emphasize a lot.
