We picked a girl name...I think.
Lainey.
I really like it. And it's the only thing we can agree on.
Opinions? Know of any ways that it could be made fun of that I would need to avoid the name?

Erin. I like it, but not enough to use it again. Lainey Rose...Rose reminds me of Titanic, and then I start thinking about what a selfishtwat Rose was when she couldn't scoot her ass over on the debris in the water. Jack didn't HAVE to die!
Well, if my sister in law didn't have the same name, I might consider it. But it ends up sounding like I named my daughter after her...and, yuck. My mom goes by her middle name. I love her name (it's VERY different) but H's mom would probably have a shitfit if we named teeny tiny after mom and not her/her family. My sister's name is also the name of one of H's ex girlfriends, so that's out too. We've also thrown around Lainey Pearl (meh), Lainey Annabelle, Lainey Evelyn, Lainey Adele...

The first thing that popped into my head was Lainey Kate.
But, I always find "my" middle names the way my mom once said: if you can step out the back door and yell it, then it's a good one.
I'll be honest and say I don't know if I like Lainey and Elis/zabeth together.

EXACTLY! The two sound so cute together! I love it.
Poor Lady Jane Grey. She didn't want to marry him, right? Or, is she the one that was married to the brother? I can't remember. I have read way too many of those books.
