Long story short - this is the bridal party I was supposed to be in (my cousin's). I had to bail as the wedding will be about 25 days before my due date and in Philly. She is like a sister to me - was involved in my wedding party, shower, etc. She is very kind, generous and giving of herself. The bride is 38; they own their own home; this is a surprise party.
I was thinking about giving her Mom some money (privately) to put towards the shower, but now I think I'm going to give her maid of honor money towards the bachelorette party instead.
For the shower gift, my Mom, SIL and I are all chipping in on 3 sets of her formalware, but I kind of want to do something a bit more.
I was leaning towards doing something with her bridal shower invite (that she can also incorporate her wedding invite). I know, from personal experience, though, that I wouldn't have anywhere to display something like this - nor would I if I did.... Oh, I also want to send this to her or give it to her privately and would like to keep it around $50.
Any thoughts?

Re: Bridal shower - special gift question?
Nice idea - never thought of that - thank you!

I love those "The LastNames Established Month Day, Year" signs. I've always wanted one
I bought one of these for my BFF's shower and framed it in a distressed frame.

If you could get an extra copy of her invite (to cut it up) you could make it into a Christmas ornament. I did this with my own wedding invite and it turned out really cute.

There are tutorials all over if you google.
It might just be something extra to add in to whatever you do. It only cost me a couple dollars.
