How Many of you are actually Utilizing the Nest?

I feel like the only forum I wonder into is this one. A lot of the boards here aren't super relevant to me. : /

I am branching out to at least lurking on some, but especially my state one seems pretty dead lately.  I imagine as things pop up (like recipe or decorating questions) or my life evolves I might get more into it.  We don't all have the same common goal like we did with wedding planning.  I hope this board stays active though because it'll be interesting to see where people go as they progress in their marriages.

When we were in the process of buying a house, I found some of the articles and the boards to be very helpful.  I knew almost nothing about the process when we started, so it was helpful to get some basic information about how things like escrow and interest rates work.

I started my new job as soon as I got back from the honeymoon, so I've been really busy. I barely make it online, let alone The Nest. I just remembered it now, clearly.

I think once I get more into the flow of my work schedule, then I might be able to poke around more. I've only checked this board so far. I haven't perused any of the articles or anything -yet-.

I've looked around a bit since being back from the honeymoon & like PP said, a lot of the boards are dead. So it's like, what's the point?

 I definitely used theknot MUCH more.

I think a lot of people dont migrate over here after the wedding.

I haven't venturede onto any other boards but this one and my state board (which only has a few posters)

but I have read some of the articles like the recipe stuff and now that we are buying a home I might click into that area.

Ive used this board a little and stalked around a little but thats it. I have no local board there is literally no one on there haha. Since I have 2 kids I find that TB is more relevant for me.

I think it is interesting that the "Most Active Posters" shows 10 people with 0 posts... It is a world of lurkers over here.

Also I peeked at other month boards, and they play daily games such as Therapy Thursday, Open letter Wednesday, TMI Tuesday? Could get interesting if we did that too!

I've been lurking a bit, but didn't see people posting much, so I stopped checking for a while.

I also haven't felt like I had a lot to contribute.  As PP noted, now that we're all married, we don't have a common goal anymore and we're all on different timelines.

I do look forward to getting to know everyone better though!  I hope we all stick around!
