Hi everyone!
I'm leaving to start a new job soon and I'm pretty close with a lot of the people I work with so I wanted to give everyone a little departing present. Has anyone ever given a little gift to their team members upon leaving a job? It would be about 20 people, mostly female (4 males) ranging in ages from 23-50ish. I have a friend that used Starbucks cups to make little faux-frappucinos with giftcards tucked inside as nurses gifts after she had her baby and I was looking to do something similiar- cheap and generic.
I've been combing Pinterest but haven't found anything that jumps out at me. Of course I'll write a heartfelt note to everyone but I thought a little something might be cute to leave behind.
I would really appreciate any and all ideas!
Re: Departing Gift(s)
bake them some goodies!
Hey everyone-
Thanks for the inspiration! I decided to go with Gigi's Cupcakes- http://www.gigiscupcakesusa.com/
They do miniature ones you can buy by the dozen so on my last day I'm just going to leave a mini cupcake on everyone's desk with a note that says something like "it's been sweet!" with a little note and my contact information.
I originally looked at doing the big ones but they're $3.50 each and by the time I buy enough for everyone I'm out like $80, plus that's a lot to transport- my parking is a little walk from our building.
For anyone that has a Gigi's near them that has never tried it- theyr'e AMAZING! I had a cupcake-themed bridal shower with their cupcakes (that a lot of my co-workers attended) and I love to bake so I figured even though I didn't personally bake these they still have "me" written all over them. Low cost and low stress- my kinda gift!
