Favorite movie? Hmmm I have lots.  Probably Shawshank Redemption....or Slumdog Millionaire.....or The Notebook

Favorite restaurant? There's this awesome place near our house called Burgoo and they do cuisine from all over the world, but they have the most amazing brie cheese fondue.  I could eat it every day.

What was your favorite detail about the wedding?  Probably the fact that it was in Maui!  i also loved my dress and my shoes!

What was the best advice you received for the wedding? for the marriage?   We didn't really get a whole lot....my parents did a top 10 pieces of advice speech which was cute.  My favourite one from that was "when discussing arguing something, ask the question - this time next week or next year, will it really matter"

Dream vacation? relaxing: I've always wanted to go to Tahiti / Adventure: backpacking in Africa is next on the to-do list!

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?  If I had to stay in Canada, I'd live here, in Vancouver.  if I could live in the States, I'd live in San Fran.  Otherwise, Perth, Australia, where H is from....it's one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

If you won the lotto, what is the first thing you would do? Quit my job and travel for months and months!!!

How was he different from your previous boyfriends? He was older, and he had a "real job" (accountant).  He was also never interested in playing any of those "games" that come at the beginning of a relationship.  He was very what you see is what you get.

How did he propose?  I kinda ruined it unfortunately, but he wanted to surprise me with a holiday and he was gonna propose on the holiday, but I am the most difficult person ever to surprise.  SO he went out and bought a bathing suit and put the ring in the little baggie that holds the straps and then put a note on it that said 'this entitles the recipient to one holiday' and I was supposed to find the ring.  Trouble is, I never use the straps so I didn't even think to look in there.  He basically had to shove the ring in my face for me to see it.

Do you plan to eat the top of your wedding cake for your 1 year anniversary? If so, what flavor is it?  We didn't have a wedding cake.  Because we did a destination wedding, it was simple and at a restaurant and dessert was part of the meal.  We had pineapple creme brule!  Yummmm.

Have you started planning next summer's vacation? If so, where will you be going?  Not next summer.  We are going to Australia and Fiji in January.  Might do something else fun next summer, but we'll see how we're doing on funds!

What is one of your pet peeves?  This is kinda rude to say, but ignorant people.  Also, when H clicks his fingernails....it drives me CRAZY!!!

favorite thing about being a wife? Hmmm well it's not really any different than where I was before (we lived together for 4years before the wedding).  I like being able to call him my husband, I guess, but that's really all that's changed for us!!

dream date? Hmmmm anything involving good food or travel!

favorite season? I love summer cause there is so much to do here (hiking, biking, swimming, road trips, etc) but I also love winter cause I love feeling all cozy inside the house with the fire going.  And I love skiing.

regret anything from the wedding? I wish I'd gotten to eat the appies during cocktail hour.  Everyone has been raving about them since the wedding but I was too busy with pictures.
