Recommendations for Bach Party in San Antonio
Hi girls - I am planning my best friends' bacholerette party in San Antonio in February. I am not from the area so I have two questions I was hoping you can help me out with.
First, any recommedations for hotels near or on the riverwalk? I am looking for something cheap. I've stayed at the Contessa which was really nice but more expensive than what I am looking for.
Also, if you have any recommendations on bars/clubs to go to, I'd love to hear them. I was planning on making a stop at Howl on the Moon and Polyesthers. Besides those two, I am unfamiliar with what's in the area.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Re: Recommendations for Bach Party in San Antonio
Any girls night is not complete without a trip to Pat O'Briens
We always make it our first stop... hurricanes always get the party started!
Cheap hotels on the Riverwalk don't really exist. If you want something nice (which most of them are) you're gonna end up paying close to or above 100 bucks. You still have a good amount of time so stalk websites like hotwire.com or orbitz for hotel deals.
As far as bars/clubs ..Poly Esthers is always a little fun, last time I went it was on the expensive side. If you're friends are okay with going to gay clubs I suggest The Bonham, great music and lots of different rooms to enjoy. All the other recs the other girls made are good ideas too.
