Fave watch for guys?

Looking for a new watch for my bf's bday in a couple months.  What are your favorite watches for guys right now?

Re: Fave watch for guys?

  • How much do you want to spend?

My DH has a really nice Raymond Weil, Swiss Army, Fossil

  • My husband has two Raymond Weils for everyday, he also has a Cartier (my parents wedding gift to him) that it's mostly worn for special occassion.

  • Tag Heuer
    No Siggy

  • A lot depends on your price range, my husband has a Tissot and a Movado and is getting a Tag soon (as a gift).  I am in love with a Mont Blanc but again it depends on your price range.
  • I bought dh the Citizen Blur Angels watch for a wedding gift. That is his dress up watch. He wears an Invicta daily.

  • I concur with it depends on what you want to spend:

Tissot is a good one, I'm a huge fan of Tag and Raymond Weil also Longines

Then from there is straps and faces :)  I love watches!

  • My DH has a Citizen Eco Drive and loves it.  Mostly because it charges with light and he never has to get a new battery.

    my read shelf:
Jen's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)
    Lilypie Pregnancy tickers
    Anniversary
  • DH has a Tag Heuer, a Luminox and a Nixon watch. All three different price points and uses. He loves them all.

  • H has a Swiss Army watch that he wears daily.

We've had nothing but problems with his Tag and it's been out for repairs more than it's ever been on his wrist. We've had many problems with it running really, really fast and the band has broken more times than I can count.  The only solution they offer is to replace the band with a leather one.  If he wanted a watch with a leather band we would have gotten him one in the first place.  (sorry about my ranting vent). Alot of people I know have said similar things about Tags, so I was surprised to see the recomendations here.

    We do also like Tissot.

  • Weird about the Tags. I have two and my dad has two and many people I know have them and nobody has ever had a problem with them. I get them serviced every so often but other than that they have been great. I was a horse trainer and they have taken a beating over the years, bettter than any other watch I've had.

  • Timex Weekender for a casual option.  Plus they're only like $30.
