Intelligence Briefings - Obama
Can someone clear this up for me. I still don't know where to go to get the true political facts.
I'm seeing on the net that Obama missed quite a few intelligence briefings. Is this true or false? I vote Republican but at the same time I don't want to believe everything I read as a fact.
Re: Intelligence Briefings - Obama
Hmm. I am having trouble finding non-partisian articles about this. I found a Washington Post opinion piece on it but I haven't found an actual article that isn't tied to an Op-Ed.
I will keep looking for you.

The main article that all the other blogs/opinion pieces are citing was written by a former GW Bush speech writer. So I question the motive of the piece and it wasn't really picked up by any other outlet and actually reported as a news piece. It was mainly fodder for opinion pieces.
So read into what you will.
How in the world would anyone know?
That alone would make me disbelieve the info. Do you really think a security advisor is calling the press to tell them Obama missed a meeting? Even if there is some high up mucky-muck leaking stuff like that - I don't see how you can get confirmation on the internet since the source wouldn't be mentioned.
Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but consider the timing - sounds like election year BS to me.
