Fall 2012 Fashion/Style Trends
What are the biggest trends for this fall so I can try to keep up with the fashionistas at work?
So far I got:
Colored jeans
Skinny jeans with riding boots
Statement necklaces (ala J.Crew bubble necklace)
Loose, flow-y tops
Am I totally off the mark here? Anything else I should add?

All on the mark- especially burgundy or "oxblood." I've also seen a lot of shoes with gold accents (heel or toe is gold), jeweled collars and some more pointy toed shoes than in years past. Also I've seen a lot of leather pieces out- pencil skirts, peplum tops, even full shift dresses in real or faux leather.
Every year I try to purchase a couple trendy pieces as well as a classic or two. Stuff that seems to be "in" every fall/winter are jewel tones, leopard print, opaque tights, boots (styles vary but you can always buy traditional knee highs and be set!) and textures (chunky sweaters, velvet blazers, silk tops, leather jackets, wool dresses, corduroy skirts/pants, etc.)
What about makeup? I'm excited to get some darker lipsticks, like plum colors and deep reds.
