*and by psychopath, the article actually says that presidents tend to share particular psychopathic traits in common, but who wants to read and analyze the fine print like that?

Oh, what I mean is that all politicians must have some of
these aspects to their personalities. That is what makes
them want to enter politics. (not that Obama is a psychopath)
BTW you should also pop on over to Parenting sometime if you like. You would fit in too. We are all about the sarcasm, and some of us even have kids (just dont remind us, mmkay?)
Thanks- I actually was a total Parenting political-post lurker because none of 'my' boards had remotely interesting/intelligent discussions about any of this (not actually having kids yet, I feel pretty constrained over there as to the boards I should actively participate on- is that ridiculous? Am I just traumatized by the territorial snark that is TTGP?). I started coming over here but quickly realized that there was no real discussion going on. Only so many times you can read posts saying nothing but "Obama is just creepy!" before it starts to get a little stale.
So I was very excited when the plan to carry the political discussions over here was announced. It keeps life interesting and entertaining. But perhaps I shall return to perusing Parenting from time to time...
Do you have puppies or kitties or rocks as pets? Cause those totally qualify you as a parent too.
I guess since the mass exodus off of 12-24 went over that ways, we have greatly reduced the number of child related posts and increased everything else. I love the politics. Love love love. I feel more fulfilled, and more full of despair, during election years (this will be my second election to vote in ever, I just got my citizenship 6 years ago) and its an excellent time to get to know people and catch up on current events. Many of us wanted to come here and we didn't because work blocks TN but not TB for some.
