Online nutritional guidance / meal planning?
DH and I want to make a lifestyle change and our biggest issue is definitely eating (portion control, balance, making healthy choices, etc). There is limited resources in our city and the resources that our available are crazy expensive. Are there any good online resources? We want something that will give us balanced weekly meals, snacks and maybe even fitness routines. We've both done My Fitness Pal in the past with some success but still find that we don't always have the proper balance in our meals. Any suggestions would be great!

Re: Online nutritional guidance / meal planning?
We're kind of in the same boat. I know this doesn't answer our question at all, but we've started ensuring we eat at least 1 vegetable and 1 fruit with EVERY meal. It's help a lot, and we feel a lot healthier because of it. We always keep apples, strawberries, and kiwis on hand for after meal "desserts". We do easy veggies in our steamer - carrots, broccoli, and fresh green beans. The meat changes, and some days we don't even eat one. We haven't really started limiting any meals or calories right now - just ensuring that we eat adequate fruits and veggies with meals. It's a start, if you can't find any other resources online!
I hope you find what your'e looking for online wise too!
