Gently Used Demetrios 4275 Bridal Gown, Size 0-2
I fell in love with this dress online and tracked it down at a nearby store. It's the only dress I tried on. During my fittings other brides also loved the dress and asked to try it on - but it was too late! That particular store no longer carries this style and I'm unsure if the style is even made anymore. The dress is only 8 months old! I wore it for my June 24th wedding.
It is taffeta, A-line with a V-neck, beaded cap sleeves, wrapped bodice and side drape with beaded tulle underlay. Corset back. Chapel train. Double bustle. The slit on the right side of the dress allows the underlay to spill out dramatically. The beaded details wrap around and enhance the shape.
The dress is in good condition, I did cut some of the tulle in the front and back, but it is not visible when worn. I had to cut it because I kept tripping over it before the ceremony.
I wear a size 0 in everyday life and the dress was altered down from a 2. There is room to alter back up. It was taken up, I am 5'2, but 5'6 with the heels I wore for the wedding. It was also taken in in the bust, waist, and hips: 32, 24, 35. The sleeves were altered to fit my shoulders exactly, but there is also room to adjust those.
The dress originally cost $2000 with $400 in alterations. I am asking $1000 OBO. I'm happy to ship to the US and Canada. Estimated shipping is $16. Local buyers are welcome to meet to see in person/try on. I can accept payment via PayPal or cash for an in-person purchase.
