XP: Home Appliance Plans
Does anyone have one of these plans, the kind that covers all your appliances/furnace in the home? Do you think it's worth it? Have you ever had to use the plan? If so, were they good about fixing/replacing the item?
Who do you have your plan through? Care to share cost?
We are thinking about doing this, especially since we also own a rental property.

I had a plan on my first place but was really a waste of money since I never used it. Personally I think you would be better off putting the same amount in a separate savings account.
I know my neighbors had one and were extremely frustrated this summer when their ac went out. They were told a minimum of two weeks before someone could come out. They ended up calling someone else to get their ac fixed.
