What to feek Katie?

I feel like I have ran out of ideas on things she can eat...what do you feed your 1 year olds?

She eats pretty much anything, but what are some 'healthy' stuff she can eat for lunch/dinner?

Re: What to feek Katie?

  • Oops=feeD not feeK...

499, my next one will make me a BRONZE poster :)

  • Katie is just a few weeks younger than Reese. so I'll share some of her faves. She eats just about everything we eat, just smaller pieces.

    pasta

    any kind of sliced fruit

    steamed veggies of all kinds

    yogurt

    tofu

meats- mostly chicken and turkey she doesn't really care for red meat

naan and hummus- her new favorite

feta cheese, small pieces of string and cheddar cheese

    cereal

she loves asian type meals, stir fry, chow mein etc

  • I almost forgot, she LOVES breakfast foods  scrambled eggs, waffles, pancakes.

  • I can't manage to get my girls to eat eggs even scrambled...but they could like off pancakes and bacon.  go figure!

    ditto what jenn listed.

fish sticks, i was surprised but they like to hold it and feed themselves, plus it's crunchy

trader joe's has chicken and chickenless nuggets

i also can't seem to get my girls to eat rice and fish...but my mom and sister can...every friggin time!

    GL!  HTH!

  • I make Audrey quesadillas with chicken or veggies, wheat crackers with soft cheese spread, bagels and cream cheese, veggie burgers, turkey meatloaf and meatballs, smart dogs, she loves fruit, pirates booty, freeze dried fruits, pickles, olives, cereal bars. That is all I can think of right now, in addition to what has already been mentioned.
  • I am so glad you posted this question because with Celeste she only has 4 teeth all in the front and I've been wondering what to feed her.
