HELP! Thermostat
Hey guys! I'm a newish homeowner (1.5 yrs). Recently my thermostat has been acting up. It's a Trane 7 day programmable one and its less than 1.5 years old as well. It hasn't been cooling like normal and the entire thermostat turns itself off and resets itself later. The ac works just fine when the thermostat is on and working. Is this a thermostat problem or an ac problem? Should I. Call a pro or buy a new thermostat? Thanks!!

I'm not a pro by any means, but it sounds to me like a thermostat problem since it's resetting itself.
We have had a couple issues with ours but mine was the a/c not kicking on... I went to the unit and unscrew ed the fuse and put it back in on the a/c unit itself and that fixes it... might be worth a try before you call - and pay for - a pro.
